My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Lucy was rescued through the Nextdoor app. Person was giving her away for free, so we decided to take her in to ensure her safety with the intention of helping her find the best home possible. She is a parvo survivor! For this reason and also being in a shelter as a little puppy she can be very timid at first.
She is a smart girl, learns commands really fast. She knows sit, wait, ready, eat, paw, and stop!

Lucy has separation anxiety that has gotten way better, but still needs some work and attention in order to help her adjust being alone from time to time. She will do better in a house with another dog or a person that stays with her. As long as she has some company she will feel safe and stay calm.

She’s the sweetest girl and will warm up to you in no time. We are sure that she will be the most loyal friend you’ll ever have!
She loves belly rubs, and playing with toys. Can be a couch potato as well as an active girl if you’re the type of person.
