Donovan and Danny Boy are brothers who have been together their whole life and would love to be adopted together into a great new home. They have been 'rescued' a number of times in their short lives. First when they were just kittens and left to starve to death inside an apartment when the tenents moved out. A neighbot found them and nursed them to great health. However their new attentive owner had to move and his new apartment complex had a 'no pet' policy. Enter PAWS. After they spent a short time in a PAWS foster home they were adopted together to a young family in Midwest City. This was in the summer of 2010. When their new family ran into tough times, they found themselves short of kibble money (and these two boys can really put down the groceries) and short of quality time they could spend with the brothers they called PAWS and in October 2012 they once again found themselves in rescue.
They are both big cats and virtually identical. They are both very social and love people but prefer the company of each other to that of any other cats or dogs. They are very 'kid friendly'. They need to go to a home where their food consumption is carefully measured and limited because at this time they are a bit overweight and at risk of developing diabetes. To see more pictures of them check out their other listting too!
All PAWS-OK cats and kittens have been fostered in a home environment and are litter box trained, up-to-date on their vaccinations, spayed or neutered and have been tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV prior to being made available for adoption. The adoption fee is $70 (cash only).
Some of our cats are available for adoption at the PetSmart on NW Expressway and Rockwell in OKC. Please check our website at pawsok.com and go to the 'Adopt' tab to see a list of those currently available in the PetSmart Adoption Center.
The first step in adoption is to complete an Adoption Request form which we use to help us match you with a cat or kitten that best meets your desires, experience and home environment. You can request one at: pawsok@sbcglobal.net or pick one up at PetSmart. Thanks for adopting a rescued cat - they make the best pets!
