When Flea came to PAWS-OK from the Shawnee Animal Shelter he was more 'flea' than 'feline'. He was covered with the nasty little things who were, in essence, sucking him dry. He probably wouldn't have made it much longer and it took a few weeks (and lots of meds) to get him back on track to good health. Now Flea is ready to find himself a new home. He is very sweet and friendly once he gets to know you but can be a little shy at first. Flea has wonderful coloring with just a tinge of 'red' on the tips of his ears, feet and tail. He is an active kitten and loves toys and racing around chasing whatever he can find. He is also cat and dog friendly. If you are interested in learning more about Flea, please contact his foster mom directly: Cheri - 405-924-4911 (leave a message if you get her voicemail.)
All PAWS-OK cats and kittens have been fostered in a home environment and are litter box trained, up-to-date on their vaccinations, spayed or neutered and have been tested for Feline Leukemia and FIV prior to being made available for adoption. The adoption fee is $70 (cash only).
Some of our cats are available for adoption at the PetSmart on NW Expressway and Rockwell in OKC. Please check our website at pawsok.com and go to the 'Adopt' tab to see a list of those currently available in the PetSmart Adoption Center.
The first step in adoption is to complete an Adoption Request form which we use to help us match you with a cat or kitten that best meets your desires, experience and home environment. You can request one at: pawsok@sbcglobal.net or pick one up at PetSmart. Thanks for adopting a rescued cat - they make the best pets!
