Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Teddy! Teddy is a 5.5 month old red tri Aussie (possibly mini) with a docked tail. Teddy came into rescue from Ely, MN. He loves to explore, but responds very well to his name and is very people and food motivated.
Teddy enjoys other dogs and loves to wrestle and zoom around the yard with them. He is very interested in chewing toys and sticks as he is teething. He also enjoys a good game of keep away. He does well on leash and is learning about the busy world outside of his yard. If he sees something new he will sit and observe until he is satisfied. It is fun watching his wheels spin.
He is incredibly loving and wants to be touching you and snuggling all the time when he is not playing.
He settles well in his crate, does well in car rides and is on his way to being reliably house-trained. No accidents so far at his foster home. His signs are clear when he needs to go potty. He keeps his crate clean and is quiet overnight.
Teddy makes his opinion known with a bark if he wants attention or your food, typical vocal aussie. He will whimper or bark for a few minutes in his crate, but settles fairly quickly.
His perfect home would allow dogs on the couch as it is his favorite place to be. The first thing he does in the morning is jumps on the couch for a big snuggle. We usher him outside to go potty, but he wants to come right back in to get the cuddles.

All of our dogs live in foster homes with volunteers. We need an approved application on file to set up a meeting with a dog you might be interested in. You can find our application at www.aussierescuemn.com. All dogs have an adoption fee of $300 plus MN sales tax. His adoption fee will have a $100 deposit added to it for his neuter. We pride ourselves on matches that are awesome for both the dog and your family. Aussie Rescue of MN is here for support, advice and as a safety net for our dogs for the rest of their lives.
