Chief is ready for adoption •
This big loveable goofball was rescued from the Lancaster county shelter. He’s about 7 years old, shepherd lab mix. He is the happiest guy, who absolutely loves playing fetch! He is a few pounds overweight which we have been working on but otherwise has no known issues. He gets along great with other dogs, kids and loves meeting new people. We cat tested him and he seems ok, no aggression at all, we still think it would need to be the right type of cat house, where the cats could go up higher or get away from him if he was overwhelming. He walks well on his leash. If he has too much built up energy he tends to jump on us, he listens well with correction and after some energy is released this problem fixes it’s self, in a home that would likely be less of an issue because he gets more individualized attention and exercise than at our rescue.
