I can't describe the horror I felt when I rescued Lily. She was an abandoned, starving stray with two old, hard plastic flea collars around her neck and one front leg pulled up through them. To try to free herself, she had chewed a six inch swath of skin from her chest and shoulder, exposing her muscle and bone. The vet who mercifully patched her up had tears in her eyes. We hoped for the best, but we never expected her to heal so well and so quickly.
Since I am a TNR (trap/neuter/release) volunteer, I have my permitted quota of cats. Lily has been fostered by a neighbor, who wants me to hurry up and find a home for her. We have learned that Lily bonds with her person(s) and will hide from others, so she would be happiest in a quiet adult only home. She follows her foster mom from room to room, but she does not get along with other cats, and this is a problem for her current foster family.
Lily wants to be your only cat and will happily live inside only. If you're an experienced cat parent, who can show love and patience to a sweet girl who has suffered greatly, Lily may be the cat for you. Can you give her the much better life she deserves? Indoor only, rehoming fee is $75 Lily is spayed and UTD on vaccines, flea and worming.
