GARNET came from a TNR station and was found alongside about 30 other kittens with at least 6 adult cats. He was plucked to safety and ended up in our rescue and placed into foster care. He’s had his first set of vaccines, a microchip and has been deemed a healthy boy by our vet. He’s also received dewormer and had a flea & tick bath (none were found on him.)
GARNET has come a long way since coming into his foster home and has gone from a shy timid boy to a much more out going one who will now look for attention. He has a fun personality and with lots of interaction he’s become a happy, fun loving guy. He’ll now come over to his foster for petting and will lay in her lap. He’s become very relaxed and comfortable in his foster home and we believe that with patience, he’ll soon settle into his new home and quickly become a snuggle bunny. He is still a little skittish with new people and will run and hide when they come into the house. One of his favourite things to do is to climb the cat tree and relax in it, he’ll also seek out that sunny spot to bask in the sun. He also loves to run around the living room chasing his toys. We feel he would best suit a home with children aged 6 and up and who are cat savvy and respectful. He does have a big dog in his foster home and he’ll now snuggle up with him so he would definitely suit a home with a cat savvy dog. He also has his sister (Amber) in the home with him so would do well with a cat that’s already in the home. GARNET and AMBER are not a bonded pair but they could definitely go to a home together.
GARNET’s neuter is included in his adoption fee and will be performed by the time he’s 6 months old. If you are interested in making this cute little guy part of your family then please fill out the adoption application.
