Here's what the humans have to say about me:
BON BON is a CHAMPAGNE POINT, blue eyed TONKINESE. She is 12 years old, has her claws, is spayed, up to date on vaccinations, FeLV/FIV negative, and microchipped. She is a petite feline at a little over 7 lbs.
Bon Bon is a retired breeder kitty. She was initially shy and a bit timid when she came into foster care, but has become one of foster mom’s favorite little love bugs. As soon as her foster mom enters the room and sits down to watch some TV, Bon Bon jumps up to be close by so she can get lots and lots of pets. She has even turned into a little lap kitty, which will be especially nice once the weather gets cooler – what’s not to love about a velvety soft little lap warmer?
This little cutie is not super demanding and content to sit on the tall cat tree or on the window ledge to watch what’s going on around her. She is not super playful but does occasionally get the zoomies, which is delightful and heartwarming to watch. She is good with getting picked up by her foster mom for some kisses on her adorable pixie face.
Bon Bon had to have an extensive dental done and has three little teeth left (it is obvious that the procedure made her feel so much better). Her right eye is a little bit smaller and less sparkly than her left eye and tends to weep a bit at times. The vet thinks she was probably born with it and there is nothing really that needs to be done.
She is currently rooming with an easy going male Persian and also doesn’t seem too perturbed by her foster mom’s older and docile male cats when they occasionally stop by for a visit. Her foster parents don’t have any dogs, but we assume an older, chill and cat friendly dog who would ignore her should be okay, but if a puppy is planned in the future, that would probably be too much for her. Older, respectful children who would understand that she needs space and patience should be okay for her as well.
Bon Bon loves her wet food, which she is being fed exclusively since she basically doesn’t have any teeth left, plus it has turned her coat into a velvety texture. She had a senior blood panel done that shows she is in great health, and she is using her litter box 100%.
All this little gem needs is a loving home where someone treasures having a soft little lap cat.
