Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hazel is a 6 year old beautiful, healthy, insanely smart, and wildly affectionate Border Collie/Golden Retriever mix. We adopted her 5 years ago in Florida. Hazel may look like just a Golden Retriever mix but she truly has the intelligence that Border Collies possess. She also can't contain all the love she has for people and she shows it with her tongue! She adores playing fetch with a tennis ball or soft frisbee more than anything, and swimming. Hazel is so eager to please and a very quick learner, and she needs a full-time job.
Hazel needs much more work and stimulation than we can provide her. After long sessions of fetch, it seems that Hazel has a hard time shutting off, and has lashed out at our other pets. Our veterinarian ruled out Hazel being in pain as the reason, and says that Hazel is in need of more “work” than we can give her. Our vet says Hazel would do best as an only pet that receives your “paychecks” of direction, love and attention.
