We adopted Lucy 6 years ago when she was only 5 months old. She has been an amazing companion and sister to our other cats and dogs.
Unfortunately, Lucy has had a hard time coping with our recently ever-changing schedule. She was thriving when we could spend a fair amount of time with her and take her on walks. But unfortunately, we no longer meet her needs. With a 2 year old and another baby on the way, Lucy's stress has hit an all time high due to lack of attention and regulation.
I want to be clear- Lucy has NEVER bitten our child, a cat, or another dog. We are just no longer able to care for her the way she truly deserves. We love her dearly and are truly struggling with the shame of rehomimg such a sweet companion.
