Ocean is a beautiful 2yo Corgi that came about a year ago very much under socialized. She has made great progress, but we are still looking for a very special person for this girl.
We would love to find a quiet home with one or two adults that are home most of the time. She will need patience and most likely won’t let you pet her the first time you meet her. She can warm up quicker, but with some people it just takes time.
Ocean is a very happy girl who loves her “people.” Like most Corgi’s she loves food. She isn’t much of a barker, only when excited usually just when her people come home or when it’s dinner time. She’s been fostered with dogs from 4lbs up to 100+ lbs and she has been great with all dogs. However, she’s a very submissve girl and has been attacked by a couple of dogs. The way she is built, she has no way of defending herself. Due to that, we will only be placing her in a home with gentle dogs 20lbs and under. She’s been living with a toddler and has done great due to the toddler learning and respecting Oceans boundaries. However, we will not be placing her in a home with children. We want Ocean to get every ounce of love and attention that this sweet girl deserves.
Once bonded to her person Ocean wants to be everywhere you are! On your lap on the couch, out in the yard while you garden, and snuggled up in bed with you.
If you think you might make a good home/family for Ocean, please fill out our adoption application.
We will NOT be making any acceptions for Ocean’s home requirements.
• no kids
• no other dogs over 20lbs/no dominant dogs
• someone must be a home a majority of the time
• breed experience preferred* not required though
Please no apartments, condos, or mobile home parks. A home check is required.
No out of state adoptions. Adoption fees are non-negotiable.
