This pair of 5 month old kittens are from a litter I got back in May. They were dumped in someone’s yard at about 5 weeks old and left to fend for themselves. This litter is close to my heart as they came to me covered in fleas and ringworm. Ringworm, unlike it’s name, is a very easily spread fungus, and because of how contagious it is, it’s a death sentence for any animal going to a shelter. I of course could not let these babies be put down for something so easily treatable, so they came to me and melted my heart. We bathed them daily to get rid of both the fleas and the fungus, and in combination with an oral medicine they were soon healthy and thriving. I remember crying as I bathed them because I my heart hurt to think how much these poor little things had gone through in the few weeks they had been on Earth. Watching them play and love and be so vibrantly healthy fills my heart with joy. Since these two have been together for so long now, they should be adopted together. They are a perfect pair, sassy and sweet.
Cali Girl is a true Calico, funny and spunky, and Freddie Prince is playful and loves attention. They play together and keep each other entertained, and I promise, will keep you entertained as well. They are both full of love.
