Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hello all,
Dixie here. Well, thankfully, I was rescued by SOCKS and am looking forward to a bright future where I can continue to thrive and give love and lots of licks and kisses. They say I am sweeter than southern sweet tea! I was a breeder dog until SOCKS found me and I am happy to say that life is behind me.
I am 7 years old and weigh about 36 pounds. I am an English Cocker Spaniel – a chocolate roan – as you may be able to see my coat in the photos. What more could you want?
Do you like sponges? Well, I am an attention sponge! I love to be near my humans, am a curious girl, and love to curl up on the sofa. I am a great fan of playing ball and I do need a fenced yard to run in. After living in a crate for so long, I have lots of running and playing to catch up on.
Great news! I am potty trained and crate trained, walk very well on a leash. My foster mom says I wiggle all over when it’s time for a walk. I am up to date on my shots, heart worm negative, spayed and have nice clean toofers that my foster mom brushes for me. One thing to note is I haven’t been around cats.
I love my foster mom and dad and they give me plenty to eat and a soft bed to sleep in. I get to go for walks and play ball. However, it is now time for a FUREVER (doggy speak for forever!) home. Could you be the one I get to play with and smother with kisses? We can have a great life together.
Lots of love and licks,
Dixie
