My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Willie! Not only is Willie missing an entire eye. He's roughly 80% blind in his good eye! Willie was transferred to us from the Riverside County Department of Animal Services after being placed on their euthanasia list. They were planning on euthanizing Willie due to his vision, or the lack thereof. But as the rescue we are, we reached out offering to take Willie into our care! Willie is now one of our longest staying animals coming to us before June of 2019! Willie is such a cool cat! Even with his poor vision, he still knows how to seek out attention and give you lots of love! He LOVES the laser pointer as well because it is much easier for him to see than many other toys! Originally, we thought Willie would need to be adopted with his buddy Popeye and while they are still friends, they have become more independent and we feel they will do just fine in homes without each other. Although, you could be a real hero and both!

Additional adoption info

Our goal is to adopt as many pets into loving forever homes as possible each month. We screen applications and arrange meet and greet times with each animal. Once the potential adopter has completed their application and met the pet, we do a 1 on 1 consultation about pet care and the life expectancy of their new family member.

More about this rescue

Why do we do what we do?

We rescue animals because they deserve a second chance at life. They didn't ask to be thrown out like trash or trapped and put into a scary place.

We rescue from high kill shelters and immediate danger.

Every animal deserves a chance at life.
