My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

After nearly 3 years in the shelter, Burrito is ready to retire to a quiet home where she can decompress and laze around. At around 7 years old, she's just ready to sit on your feet and get all the head and butt scratches she can! Burrito is a fan favorite at the shelter and, if you met her, you'd quickly find out why! She does well on walks, loves attention, and spins around from person to person looking for the next set of hands to give her love. Burrito's main quirk is she is not a fan of any other animals; sharing the spotlight is not something she learned how to do. Outside of that, you'd be lucky to find a more loving and loyal animal to welcome into your home. We love her dearly at the shelter but we'd love to see her find her forever even more!

Additional adoption info

Our goal is to adopt as many pets into loving forever homes as possible each month. We screen applications and arrange meet and greet times with each animal. Once the potential adopter has completed their application and met the pet, we do a 1 on 1 consultation about pet care and the life expectancy of their new family member.

More about this rescue

Why do we do what we do?

We rescue animals because they deserve a second chance at life. They didn't ask to be thrown out like trash or trapped and put into a scary place.

We rescue from high kill shelters and immediate danger.

Every animal deserves a chance at life.
