My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Once you submit an application, please keep checking your SPAM folders, for some reason our email responses are ending up in SPAM.

**Please note: applications must be filled out via our website - www.angelcathaven.com - thank you for understanding.**

This handsome man (DOB 10/1/2021) has had a tough life and is now looking for his forever home. Found as a skinny, scared, and beat up stray, he has come a long way. It is hard to get a good picture since he keeps coming closer for pats! He has a sweet personality, is a talker, and loves to be patted and brushed. He is neutered, up to date with his vaccinations, and is FIV positive. * Please see more information below regarding FIV.

Please consider adopting him! "He is a special guy!", says his foster mom!

This cat is currently in a foster home, so if you would like to meet him/her please fill out an adoption application. They can be found at www.angelcathaven.com and can be filled out online or emailed to cats@angelcathaven.com.

**A special note: given the current social restrictions we are under due to COVID-19, the adoption process will be a longer one than usual to ensure the health and safety of everyone involved.**

FIV info:
With proper vet care and an indoor-only lifestyle, a FIV positive cat should be able to remain out of trouble with his health issues and live a long, happy life!

FIV, or feline immunodeficiency virus, is a disease that is quite similar to human HIV/AIDS. Cats with FIV can live for a number of years without symptoms, and most go on to live normal, healthy lives. The disease is transmitted from cat-to-cat only via direct contact—such as bites, puncture wounds, deep scratches, and occasionally during birth. There is a chance that they may re-test negative for FIV if their bodies can fight off the infection.
