Meet Kuku🧡
Kuku is one of Danpoong’s five puppies. On a bitter winter day, Danpoong was brought to Koren city shelter, where she gave birth to five puppies and suffered from monge. After Adogs rescued them, the other puppies found their forever homes but Kuku and his mom Danpoong are still waiting for their family.
* Interaction with people : Loves people so he greets familiar ones with kisses. Gets scared or barks at strangers who approach swiftly, though. Hides to the room after barking with fear at new people who visit home. Warms up shortly if they take time and approach him slowly.
* Interaction with dog: Greets nicely other dogs and plays well with them with quick adaptation. Feels comfortable to greet other dogs calmly one by one and gets scared if too many dogs come at him all at once.
* Interaction with Cats: Sniffs calmly at cats who stay still but tries to chase running cats. Attention is required.
* Separation Anxiety: None at all! Plays or sleeps alone very well even without humans around.
* Potty training: Prefers outdoor potty but uses indoor pads with 100% accuracy. No marking.
* Hygiene: Dislikes baths as he had weekly medicated baths but gets through it well. Is scared of the blow dryer. Is afraid of having toenails trimmed and tries to nip. His nail length is being controlled with regular walks.
* Walks: Has excellent walking manners so he walks beside the walker very well. May pull on the lead when dogs, birds, cats or other animals pass by swiftly. May get nervous and bark when a person suddenly comes running in his direction and is going through training.
* Car Sickness: May vomit when he rides the car over 30 minutes. It would be better not to feed him before car rides.
* Has mastered commands like 'sit, shake, down, nose, chin’ and is a quick learner.
* Has a good appetite, so he may growl when you try to touch his snack.
* May get nervous and try to bite defensively when a stranger comes to touch him suddenly.
* Is scared and sometimes barks when he hears sudden or unfamiliar noises, but stops very soon.
* Gets scared easily, but also is a very curious dog. Shows a lot of affection when you become close to him!

All our dogs fly from South Korea to the US and Canada when their adoptions are finalized so the adopters cannot go through "meet and greet."

Please hold our dog's hands so that they can forget about the painful past and live happily.

More about this rescue
ADOGS(Adopt Dogs), a non-profit organization, is an abandoned dog foster/adoption organization launched by an individual volunteer group that has rescued, fostered, adopted dogs since 2018.
We are conducting rescue, foster, adopt from South Korea rural shelter. We also rescue dogs irregularly from illegal dog farms or any other places that need help.
We rescue large and small dogs of all breeds, including dogs with special needs.
Although we can't save all abandoned dogs in the world, we are doing our best to the dogs in front of us so that their lives can be changed like any other pets.
In expanding our search for adoption leads, we’ve broadened our mission: To bring at-risk dogs across the Pacific to loving stateside families.
Due to limited demand for large-breed dogs in Korea, arranging for local adoption has proven almost impossible. Instead, we seek to bring these persecuted dogs to the United States where dogs have a higher chance for adoption and survival.
