My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Huxley is a senior Pomeranian found dumped in a park.

He’s a sweet boy, loves everyone, young and old, and gets along great with other dogs. He’s losing weight, but still a ways to go and is on a prescription weight loss food. He has some mobility issues which our vet attributes to arthritis and weight…but he still enjoys short walks and hanging out.

Huxley likes to play with toys and can be silly and puppy-like, despite age. He is housebroken, but sometimes needs encouraged if it’s wet outside or he’s distracted from going potty.

He can be spicy, though rare, with handling that may be used to collar him, etc, but is usually a perfect sunshine gentleman. He would love a home that wants to give him a tub of stuffies and a cool floor to lounge on, and maybe some dog friends. He seems really happy about smaller, male dogs, but likes everyone.

He will require frequent grooming appointments to make his look his best.
