My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

April 2018 we picked out Kira from a litter at GoldenTreasureRetrivers and took her home at 8 weeks old. She would travel to volleyball tournaments with our three kids and was the life of the party. Sometimes she would join me to visit my wife and her coworkers in the Emergency Department to give the clinical staff and patients a little puppy therapy. Kira loves laying quietly by your feet or snuggling on your lap while you watch TV. She is a very smart and agile dog.

We absolutely love Kira and it breaks our hearts, but we need to find a new home. Two years ago, our second Golden retriever had a litter of puppies, and we kept a male and female. For some reason it freaked out Kira and she was aggressive towards the puppies when they are close. We have kept her separated and tried training but after two years realize it is not a good fit and she would be more content with a family where she the only dog and can have all of the attention. :-)
