Rose, along with her littermates, were headed to the shelter as an owner surrender by a neighbor. I knew they wouldn't make it so I took them in. They were a third of the weight expected for their age.
I've had them 3 weeks and they finally gained enough weight for their rabies shot. Rose is approx 1.6 lbs She's had two kitten shots and will be spayed when she reaches 3 lbs. Mom has been spayed and rehomed.
Rose is litter trained and gets along with my other cats, dogs and kids. She's still a little shy and nervous
