My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Gunny and his siblings were found near a rural community in June. They are ready to find their new homes. Gunny loves toys and the swimming pool. He is crate trained and house trained. He will let you know when he needs to go out. He will be neutered at the end of the September. He is Heart Worm negative and microchipped. Adoption fee includes transport to the Ct area.

Their adoption process

1.

Submit Application

We have a detailed application to complete.

2.

Interview

We do a phone interview and a Facetime and/or Skype interview.

3.

Home Check

We have people do home visits and we do virtual visits.

4.

Approve Application

Once approved we submit an adoption contract for signature.

5.

Sign Adoption Contract

Both parties execute the contract.

Pay Fee

7.

Take the Pet Home

Pet can be shipped via airline, Rescue Road Trips or other transport.

Additional adoption info

If pet does not work out the rescue takes the pet back.

Mission Statement:

To provide a safe environment for neglected or abused canines that need a place to rehabilitate or be in foster care until a permanent home can be established for them. To work with and assist like-minded animal assistance organizations and assist them with providing sanctuary and rehabilitation for canines until permanent homes can be established for them.

We started as a private rescue 20 years ago and we are a 501c3. Our goal is to help the homeless and neglected dogs in Texas and to do what we can to educate on the value of spay and neuter so the tragic loss of life of dogs and cats can be prevented.
