Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi, my name is Teo, and I don't really understand why I'm needing to find a new home but I'm excited to show you the silly things I do when I get the zoomies, and what I've learned during my two board and train sessions. I know sit, down, place, paw, come, and a few other words. I love playing fetch and tug, taking long walks, swimming, and getting scratches in all the good spots. I don't like being home alone, so I'm hoping to find a family that will be home with me until I learn how to work through this, and I promise to repay you with the absolute best cuddles in exchange. I do love to lick and nibble on my ears, so please don't wear any earmuffs if you decide to come and meet me! I am very loved and cared for and I am looking for a new home through no fault of mine.
Teo is a cropped and docked 1.5-year-old red boy who lost his human dad very unexpectedly, leaving his mum to care for him alone. She is struggling to meet his needs while working through her own grief and feels that it would be best for Teo to find a new family. Teo does suffer from separation anxiety, and he'll need a home that can patiently endure his howling while helping him through this. Teo’s mom works from home and is with him full time so he struggles with a regular and consistent crate schedule when being crated from long than 2-3 hours.
This boy is completely housebroken, up to date on his medical care, neutered, and ready to move right into his new home. Teo will be best suited in a home without small children. He has done well with other dogs but enjoys chasing kitties, so he may be best suited without any cats in his new home as well.
