Mickey is 10 years and 4 months old, weighs 18 lbs, is neutered, is up to date on his vaccines, is FeLV/FIV negative, as his veterinary records will substantiate, but he is not microchipped. He eventually warms up to new people; he does well in a crate in the car, listening to music.
Mickey's guardian presents the essence of Mickey: "If looking for the most perfect cat as a companion, Mickey is so perfect. His greatest love is to sit with you, near you or on your lap! He also enjoys his quiet alone time. If you have the time he loves to play with pull toys with you and capture the toys, he is very good at that. He is gentle and calm and enjoys being touched and petted, as his loud purrs will attest. When he looks in your eyes, he is most definitely commmunicating with you."
Mickey's guardian explains why she has made the difficult decision to rehome him: "We are moving to another country and am concerned about the difficult plane trip and adjustment to the new environment."
Mickey's guardian offers a brief medical history: "Once he had a soft muscle injury front leg from hard playing and jumping, healed on own."
Mickey's guardian states the following regarding children: Mickey hasn't lived with children, but his guardian recommends his living with children, stating "Mickey is an indoor cat, has never been outside my home or apartment. It is hard to predict how he will do with children, but he's very social."
Mickey's guardian states the following regarding dogs: Mickey hasn't lived with or otherwise been around dogs, so his guardian doesn't recommend his living with dogs, stating ""Mickey has never lived with another animal, and it is hard to say how he will respond. He might do very well, but at this time can't predict either way."

However, he also knows how to be alone."
