ONYX hails from Wunimum Lake and came south to find his forever family. He’s had his first set of vaccines and is microchipped. This little guy is very unique as the community he comes from has a recessive dwarfism gene and he has it. He’s referred to as a “low rider” as he has these tiny little legs and he will not grow to a full size dog, in height at least. In every other way he looks like a normal sized puppy of around 10 weeks old - except for those little legs. He has a great disposition and is pretty laid back especially for a Husky. we have no knowledge in his parents so his breed and the size he’ll be is purely a guess.
He loves to play with his toys and run around and play with his sibling. One of his favourite things to do is “dig” in his water bowl and even when it’s empty, he’ll still dig away in there.
House training is still a work in progress as he’s too young to ask to go outside but he does use newspaper to go on in the house. He’s good in the crate and sleeps through the night in it and will also hang out in it during the day. He’s rarely kept in the crate other than at night so he’s looking for a home that has someone in it for most of the day. He does love to go on walks and be outside so an active family to take him walking and on adventures would suit him. He needs to have a fenced yard and children should be 6 plus. He’s met a cat and really wasn’t too interested in him so he should be good with one in the home.
Obedience training is required for him to help him be the best puppy he can be. We also need you to be in agreement to have him neutered by the time he’s 6 months old and that cost is included in his adoption fee.
