My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Hondura is a 3 year old female American Pit Bull Terrier that has been at AWL since 6/28/2023. Hondura was dropped off as a stray. Hondura is selective with her people, but once she chooses you, you`ll be showered with endless love. Hondura is affectionate and loves attention. Hondura has a superstar personality and is one of kind! Hondura is looking for his best friend. Could that be you? Hondura is available for adoption, to foster, or just simply going out for walks. Come say hi!!

Additional adoption info

The first thing we require the Adopters to do is fill out one of our applications. Once they get that turned into us we call landlords, vets, and references and check to make sure their animals have all been up to date and make sure their landlords( if they have one ) are okay with them bringing home a new animal. We also call the references to make sure they are good animal owners. We will also look at whether or not you have a fenced in yard and how big your yard is ( if adopting a dog). We want to make sure we have the best fit home for the animals. All of our animals have their boosters (adult or puppy). Some are fixed and some are not. We do have a spay/neuter trailer that comes to the shelter at least once a month that spay and neuters our animals.
