Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Meet Sugar Baby, a precious 3-4 year old, 10 pound Yorkie girl being fostered in Georgetown, TX. Only Texas applicants will be considered.
Pupdate: I wanted to update all my friends that I had my final test and I am HEARTWORM NEGATIVE….now I am scheduled for my spay on 11/28 and I will ready for my new family.
I have been with my foster family since August and boy have I learned a lot about life..I now love going places in the car, take long walks everyday and I really really love my foster doggie roommates. I have fallen in love with foster mom so I become very protective of her when foster dad comes too close. I love all women but sometimes a little hesitant when men approach. I am hoping that my new family would be a single lady with another playmate so we can hang out and I can give all my love and snuggles to my new mom and not have to share her kisses. I love to snuggle in bed right next to my mom and I share that affection with my other Yorkie friend. I am full of life and am looking forward a family that is active and can take me on new adventures.
If you can give me a full 10 years of your life please look below and complete an application so we can get started on our new adventure
Pupdate: Sugar Baby is so true to her name….she is a total love bug. She never takes her eyes off of her foster mom, even if Sugar Baby is sleeping she sleeps with one eye open in case she misses something. Lol. She snuggles next to whoever is watching TV, enjoys being with her foster siblings and being part of the pack when it is time to go outside.
Sugar Baby is half way thru her Heartworm treatment and is doing amazing.
As soon as her treatment is completed she will be spayed and then she will be ready for her new family around Thanksgiving.
Sugar Baby has discovered the world of going for a walk and she lives for that leash to come on and head out. She potties outside on her walks and greets everyone, even friendly dogs. She loves the back yard and laying in the sun. She will be great with an active family that can keep showing her new things like travel, play, walking and keep introducing her to new activities.
She is quite the communicator. She will let you know in her own words that she wants something. Maybe food, outside, or time for her walk. Sugar Baby will need to be with a family with children over 12 years of age.
If you are looking for a velcro baby that wants love 24/7 reach out to her foster mom at uyrtxbets@gmail.com
Sugar Baby wandered into the back yard of a kind lady and was in very sad condition after what seems to be a recent pregnancy. She has now been in rescue one week and everyday we see her adjusting beautifully to the big world that she has never seen. She is great around her foster siblings including an Old English Sheepdog, a yorkie and a gentle shitzu /poodle. She is a little skittish with new sounds and banging since it appears she may have been a breeder baby that was possibly dumped when they found out she is heart worm positive.
Sugar Baby is the perfect name for this sweet sweet 3-4 year old 10lbs of love and hugs. She is up to date on all vaccines and has begun her heart worm treatment that is expected to have a positive outcome so she can can give a new family all the love she has in her heart. Sugar Baby is potty trained and of course sleeps with 2 other siblings on her foster mom's and dad's bed.
This little girl knows nothing but kindness and love. It takes her a little more time to get used to men but she is taking it slow with foster dad and everyday she gets closer and closer. Because we aren't sure how she is around small children adoptions would be best with children 12 and over.
If you think this sweet girl would be a wonderful new addition to your family please see below to complete and application.
