We have one adoption application for Sophie.

Sophie is a sweetheart that wants to warm up and be your princess. She loves to get attention and follows you to hang out, but isn’t needy. She is housetrained if kept on a consistent schedule. She is also doggy door trained. She can be trusted to be free-roaming while you are away from home. She’s very sensitive to your feelings and observant. She used to live with other female dogs, but she would prefer to be an only dog or with another alpha dog because she doesn't really want to be in charge and is a nervous alpha. She has played with dogs in her foster home, and likes to run in the yard. She and the male dog her size in her foster home will find any excuse to play. She loves to sit with you and show you that you are her number one priority. Her ideal home would be relatively calm, because she can get a little nervous at loud noises or when she feels under-foot. Surprisingly, when you get her out in a crowd, like at happy hour, she gets along with everyone great! She will need regular grooming because she has a thick, full coat. She is leash trained and likes to go for walks.



Sophie has pancreatitis, so she is eats a special low-residue food that we get from the vet’s office and her medication gets sprinkled over the top. The medication and food seem to be maintaining her condition very well and would be part of her future upkeep. The special food and medication cost about $45 per month.

Adoption fee is $200.
