My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

To put it bluntly, Clara is a chonky gal with a little spice that keeps things interesting. She came to us extremely overweight after years of over feeding and minimal exercise. After ruling out medical concerns, this girl started her weight loss journey. She has been in foster for several months and is finally on track with a healthy diet.

As far as her chi sass goes, she’s generally able to get along with most animals (cat or dog) and fine with people, but she might catch an attitude here and there. Clara was trained to use a potty pad in her previous life, and unfortunately those habits are harder to break. She is learning to potty outside as well, but will likely need potty pad access regardless. Clara is crate trained, but also really enjoys being out to lounge around the house most of the day.

Clara is approximately 5-7 years old and around 10lbs. She is spayed, vaccinated, microchipped, dewormed, heartworm negative, and current on flea and heartworm prevention. Her adoption fee is $200.
