Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Shepherd Girl was running stray in the Olive Branch area for weeks. One of her frequent visits was to the food panty and the volunteers there asked for help. We set a trap for her and within hours she was safe off the old highway.
After a few days to settle in we were able to get her into boarding and set up her spay. She is now spayed, microchipped, current on all her vaccines and preventatives. Sadly, she did test light positive for heartworms. She started her 2nd round of doxycycline regimen and is continuing with advantage multi monthly. Shepherd Girl is about 3 years old but has the energy of a young pup. Although she was very scared when she first arrived, she is now very confident with herself and inside the foster home. She does well on leash walking but is always anxious to get back inside. I guess I would be that way too if I had been roaming the old highway looking for a safe place to stay.
We hope that she can find a home that will be patient with her and help her fit into their routine. She is kennel trained and will let you know when she needs to go out to potty.
If interested in giving her a home, please send us an email and we will send you an application to fill out. saveonepet@gmail.com
Her adoption fee is $150.
