Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
Sophia is a 2 year old blue pit/mix? She has recently gone through heartworm treatment and 3 months into the required 9 month preventative to get her final snap test to clear her from Heartworm all together. Sophia loves to cuddle and sit with you, and overall be with people. She does have some separation anxiety but has learned in the kennels, she gets more attention being quiet, then throwing a fit. She is crate trained and does well in one.
Wind, hard rain, and thunder and lightening can spook her and set off her anxiety. In extreme anxiety, Sophia WILL climb cyclone and welded wire gates and fences. Sophia could still use a little leash training but overall does well. She will still pull hard when excited. Sophia has greeted, sniffed over our cat and let it walk away when it had enough ON LEASH. She has not been tested free roam. When asked, Sophia will stand on her hind legs and give you hugs, if you bend down to her level she will even give soft little kisses (she doesn't like beards or goatee so I usually get them on the nose). Sophia will stand on her hind legs and prance (pictured in picture 2) for treats and food. If you ask her to sit and wait, she will. Sophia has most of her basic training, UTD on shots and is available for adoption to that perfect fur ever home.
