Say hello to Bridget! This adorable pup is ready to meet you! Bridget was recently returned due to no fault of her own. Bridget was recently in foster and has been doing great! She can be very high-energy and needs a family who will keep up with her antics. She would benefit most in a home with routine and structure and someone who will work with her on her training. Bridget has met other dogs, but at this time would do best as the only dog in the home. If you are looking to add Bridget to your furry family, we require meet-and-greets for all of our dogs. We love seeing more and more of Bridget's personality as she opens up to us here at the shelter. A few things we know about Bridget are that she loves a good game of fetch, likes her opinions to be heard, and would do well in a home with someone who can handle her sassy personality. Bridget is housetrained and does pretty well in a crate. She is still working on her leash manners, but with enough patience and training, she can become a master in no time. The Humane Society of Eastern Carolina's mission is to serve as a safe haven for homeless and neglected pets and act as a resource to the community. By educating the public about issues pertaining to animals, we feel that we can work towards the elimination of over breeding of dogs and cats and teach owners to be responsible pet owners. At the same time, we hope to facilitate adoption of pets to good homes so that we can allow more unwanted animals to find a temporary home with us.
