Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Hi! My name is Ramses (or Ram Ram)! I am an 8-year-old, 48lb, English bulldog and I am looking for a forever home!
I am a sweet, gentle, and relaxed bulldog that just loves to be with my foster pawrents! I love to explore Chicago and be with my foster brother Booper, who is also a bulldog like me!
My favorite snack is watermelon for sure! I love it! I walk well and can’t wait to see more of the world! I am good at being house trained. I love other pups and meeting people. When you come home, I love to welcome you back and be your buddy right away! For being 8 years old I can walk well and love a good walk! I usually go about 2-3 blocks then I am ready to go back since I am a bulldog! I love the dog park too, but it is new to me! I just love meeting new friends and getting belly rubs! I love naps, and I sleep well through the night so I don’t wake anyone up!
I am adjusting well to my foster home because my last home kept me alone for a long time, usually 12 hours for the last 8 years! I was really lonely and would end up peeing the house because I wasn’t let out for 12 hours! Now I have more attention and I love it! My foster parents say I am house trained and can last around 5 hours during the day before I should be let out to pee just like any other pup! I was a little stinky when my foster parents rescued me, and I hadn't had a bath in a while but a good bubble bath and keeping up on cleaning my folds/ears made that much better! Now I smell great! I am still working on humping/licking (especially at the dog park with new pups) but I am getting better! The vet says I need to be neutered so that is the next step and it might make me avoid humping/licking! My ears were checked, and I was told I have allergies. I am supposed to rinse my ears every other day for now.
I am looking for a home that won’t leave me alone all day because I can get lonely and really sad. If you want a best bud, that is me! I want you to feel loved! I would love to have a house with lots of love for me, but I would be fine with a doggy brother or sister too! Do you have kids? No problem for me! More friends for me! It would be great if someone works from home or nearby so that I don’t go hours without getting a quick belly rub! My foster pawrent works from home often so I make sure not to snore or bark while she is working! Usually, I just snuggle up on the rug next to her!
I can’t wait to meet you!
Ramses!
