Do you have space in your heart for a sweet, chonky gentleman? Hugh was pulled from a local shelter and arrived into foster care struggling to groom himself due to his size. However, he has made great improvements and can groom himself again by keeping to his vet-prescribed urinary and weight management. Hugh has had urinary crystals in the past and will need to be on a strict urinary diet for life. This isn't a struggle for him since he loves his food!

Hugh loves to lounge around at home with his favourite humans, getting lots of belly rubs while binging TV shows. He's friendly and warms up to new people quickly. Hugh is scared by loud noises and environments and a home without young children or dogs may be best suited for him. He seemed friendly and interested in other cats at the shelter and may do well in a home with another cat when properly introduced.

Hugh is a gentle, laid-back cat and would love to go home with a family ready to spoil him with love and affection!
