Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
If you see pets listed by a private owner, it means that they’re adoptable through Adopt a Pet’s Rehome program – the safe and reliable way to find a loving new home for your pet.
Mika was born on June 9, 2022. She is 50 pounds and done growing. She was rescued from someone who had an "oops" litter that was about to turn her into the local shelter.
Mika is loving, friendly and energetic. She never barks, and loves people and soft treats. She is also crate-trained. Mika is sensitive to clothing/materials that have a newly-bought smell. We wash her blankets in unscented detergent. Mika is brilliant at proving "tough chewer certified" toys wrong. She also likes smelly tissues, so it helps to have trash cans with lids. She does not get into the toilet or other things around the house, but she has gotten into some shoes, so as long as those are kept out of reach, she's good about not looking for them.
Mika is very loved and will be greatly missed. Unfortunately, all of my kids are allergic to Mika and our landlord does not allow pets. We want Mika to go to a family that will love and cherish her as we do.
