Check out our sister brand, Kinship, for vet chat, a nutrition calculator, basic obedience training, and (much) more. So you're never flying solo in this pet parenting thing.
* Black Spots not included with dog, but we love that the color job makes him look more hyena than dog!
Robin is a 3-year-old neutered male who has overcome incredible odds and is now ready to find his forever home. Two years ago, this brave boy was on the euthanasia list due to a severe injury after getting caught in a kennel door. We saved his leg, and although it's permanently deformed, it doesn’t slow him down one bit!
Robin is a joy to be around and has a zest for life that’s infectious. He’s about 47 pounds of pure love and is likely a mix of Carolina dog, Staffordshire Terrier, American Pit Bull Terrier, and maybe even some Kelpie. He’s truly the perfect super mutt!
Here are some highlights about Robin:
Potty and Crate Trained: Robin knows basic commands and is a saint in a crate.
Great with Kids: He’s fantastic with our foster’s children and loves being around humans of all ages.
Dog-Friendly: Robin does well with other dogs and enjoys making new furry friends.
Leash Pro: He walks well on a leash and loves exploring the world with you.
Unique Look: Our groomer had some fun and turned him into a cheetah
He’s as unique on the outside as he is on the inside!
Despite his leg being deformed, Robin is fully healed and doesn’t let it hold him back. He’s a resilient, loving, and spirited dog who’s ready to fill your home with joy and companionship.
Interested in becoming a forever home for Robin? Fill out our online adoption application: http://www.friendswithfourpaws.org/adoption-form.html This is the first step in our process, and we don't go any further without an application.

We put a lot of time and energy into processing our adoptions to find our babies the best fit home for them and you. Please do not submit an application if you are not serious about adopting Robin.
We are so excited to work with you to find you a new forever friend, and Robin the perfect forever home, and appreciate you working with us.
For immediate consideration, please attach your application to the initial inquiry to help us expedite the process.
Our adoption fee is $525. This includes their spay/neuter surgery, full (age appropriate) vaccinations, microchip insertion and registration, deworming, heartworm testing and prevention, flea and tick prevention and travel expenses.
All of our dogs are rescued from local shelters and the general public. Each dog is then placed in a foster home where he/she is kept for quarantine, to ensure if the dog gets sick it can receive proper treatment. We have foster homes in the NJ/NY area waiting to receive their fosters. Once an animal has received an application or there's an adopter interested, we make arrangements for transport. If a dog is already in foster care in NYC/NJ, an adopter will be put in touch with the foster home AFTER an application is being processed.
Thank you in advance for your patience with our process and for making adoption YOUR option!
