My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Tater Tot!

This sweet boy originally was adopted from us when he was just 4 months old.  He is now 1.5 years old and is sadly looking for a new home again. It's not his fault - he is a good boy. Sometimes life just happens and owners are not always able to keep a dog, so we are here to help little Tater Tot to find his happily ever after.

From his foster mom:

He is warm and friendly to any adult he's met before and loves all of my adult kids. When faced with a stranger, he needs a minute and will bark at visitors. He does not bark otherwise. Once introduced, he is excellent with other dogs. Tater Tot loves kids of all ages. He has never met a cat. He likes to chase squirrels, bunnies and birds out of the yard.

He has attended small dog daycare one day a week (for 7 months) where he happily socialized. He knows sit, off, stay, hush. He immediately returns to me if called.  Loves his stuffed toys, chew toys, and carries them from one room to another. ,
Tater Tot is fully house trained. No mistakes at known homes.

Tater Tot does not love being home alone and would love to just be with you all the time. The max he's been home alone is 4 hours. He doesn't chew anything but he just gets stressed out by himself.

Tater Tot has an old injury to one of his front legs. It does not seem to impede his functioning or cause him any pain. He plays and walks happily.

Tater Tot is vaccinated, chipped and neutered. His adoption fee is $450

We cover the medical to prepare the pet for adoption and the adopt donations go directly to cover those costs and range from $295-$495.  Thank you for stepping up to save a life!

To expedite to meet with this dog, please go to our site at www.savinggreatanimals.org and fill out an application. We look at the first applications to arrive, so we hope to hear from you soon!
