This sweet girl is one year old and appears to be a lab/shepherd mix.

She is just delightful, calm and fun. She also is a sensitive soul and has sometimes skipped a meal here and there since arriving in Maine.

Bayou is terrific with other dogs and children, playful and friendly. She soaks in all the love and attention she can get.

Was going to be shot by her “human” owner but a kind young lady intervened to save her. Why, you ask? He just didn’t want her any more.

Bayou shares her Maine foster dog with two other dogs and is AOK with them and all the humans she has met. This girl is up for adventure and is craving a new loving family, could it be yours?
