Here's what the humans have to say about me:
HISTORY: This beauty was found emaciated and matted on the streets of Alexandria, Egypt. Her rescuer immediately took her to the vet. It looked like she was either hit by a car or beaten in the face with a stick. Luckily, her jaw wasn’t broken but she did lose several teeth as a result.
She also has a snaggletooth on the right side of her lower jaw. She was born with the snaggletooth. It is not the result of her injury.
Bronx is fully healed now. She is in no pain, she has no problem at all eating - she eats both wet and dry food - and there are no long term issues expected as a result of her trauma.
PERSONALITY: As you can see in the video, this beauty is full of beans.
“Filled with brightness” is the Sanskrit meaning for the word Bhama. In spite of her rough beginning, Bronx is exactly this, hence, her name, Bhama BRONX.
Personality plus, this beautiful and youthful Spirit, is one very joyful girl.
Super loving and affectionate, with just the slightest touch, Bronx will purr like an engine.
Bronx trusts humans and is comfortable being picked up. She loves to be adored and showered with kisses. She is especially particular to belly rubs and forehead massages (just above the nose). She wants to hang out with her human all the time and she insists on sleeping with you at night.
Playful and funny, with sudden bursts of the zoomies, Bronx loves to chase balls and feather sticks and to play with other easy going cats. She is also fine with dogs and children as long as they are kind, calm and respectful of her (e.g. no pulling her tail or picking her up against her will).
She gets great enjoyment from looking out the window and checking out what the birds and squirrels are up to.
As with any Himalayan, Bronx will need to be brushed every day to avoid getting knots. This girl loves her brushing session as it gives her more chill time with her human. Typical of flat-faced breeds, Bronx will also need to have her eyes and the pockets around nose gently wiped on a daily basis, too. Her foster also puts cream on and around her nose area when it gets dry or she sees Bronx trying to scratch her nose.
IDEAL HOME ENVIRONMENT: Bronx would be a wonderful addition to a family or a couple with another friendly cat or easy going dog. She is a lovebug!
Please email us at thepinkvibe@hotmail.com to request an adoption application for Bhama BRONX. Please also share a little bit about yourself and why you feel she is the perfect fit for you and your family. Thank you. :)
