My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Burly is a darling boy and quite fun, playful, and loving to his people. He likes to be pet and be around you. This handsome fella is part of a pairs only adoption with his very closely bonded brother, Figaro. They snuggle and nap together, and it is quite adorable. Burly is on a special urinary food, but even when he had his urinary infection and crystals, he used the box like a champ and never once went outside the box. Burly and Figaro simply need to be fed separately (put one in one room and one in another room at feeding time and they gobble up their food quickly), but it has been very easy to manage. These boys are quite adaptable and settle into new environments rather quickly. They will be a wonderful addition to a loving family. Not sure how they would be with other cats or dogs.

More about this rescue

We have created a non-profit animal shelter dedicated to eliminating cruelty, abuse and the overpopulation of animals. The Humane Society is committed to creating the awareness of animal rights throughout the Romeoville community by providing numerous animal welfare programs, including pet adoptions, humane education and cruelty investigations. ALL animals available for adoption are spayed or neutered, vaccinated, fecal tested, fiv/felv tested (cats only), heartworm tested (dogs only) and microchipped. It is the policy of the Romeoville Humane Society to spay or neuter all animals in its care in an effort to reduce the homeless pet population.
