My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

PLEASE READ ALL OF THE FOLLOWING INFORMATION BELOW BEFORE YOU RESPOND.

It is a long read and a long adoption process. Please understand we are ensuring that our babies go to great homes and we don't know you personally (yet). Understand that this is an adoption of a beautiful little soul that deserves the absolute best life.

THELMA , her 4 foster siblings (TOSTIO - DORITO - FRITO-CHEETO) and her sister LOUISE were rescued from the shelter. One of the fosters for Workin' Whiskers wanted kittens to foster. So the rescue mama picked them all up. She could not leave them to their doom.

THELMA is your typical crazy kitten. She loves to be petted. When you pick her up, he will stay still and allow pets. She actually really loves to be loved. Then she's off to play and play and eat something and then play again. She absolutely loves her wet food, She will need a young cat at home to play with. We will not do the adoption if no other young cat is in his current home.

THELMA is DOMESTIC SHORT-HAIR TORBIE MIX. She is about 6 months old and is good with cats. She has been around young children and she has lived with dogs.

LOUISE is a TORBIE cat is the most rare. The term “TORBIE” is short for tortoiseshell-tabby, and they were once referred to as reverse torties. When a cat has tabby stripes but also tortoiseshell markings, this results in what is known as a TORBIE. They are also called “patched tabbies” since they are a tabby with patches of red or cream.

Now LOUISE and THELMA are sisters. They aren't a bonded pair, but if your looking for a set of very affectionate, loving, sweet and playful girls...these 2 are for you! You will have a hard time telling them apart. LOUISE has an orange spot on her forehead.

THELMA is currently at a foster home in Hemet, California.

NOVEMBER 2023: VOLUNTEERS are the only ones allowed to let you meet the kitty. Not PETSMART employees.

Volunteers are usually at PetSmart between 9 am to 1 pm for cleaning. The cats currently at PETSMART you are allowed to go visit. A good time to come visit is between 4 pm - 9 pm. Volunteers in the evening are only there in the evening for 3 hours. Please call the PetSmart location, email us or visit the cattery for VISITING HOURS. Most days are different 3 hour shifts. VISITING HOURS are based on volunteer availability.

The kitties at a foster/rescue homes, we will accommodate as much as possible. But steps 1-6 of the ADOPTION PROCESS need to be done before we do OFFICIAL MEET & GREETS. It is easier to do the meet and greets at the locations listed below.

PETSMART
in Murrieta, California off Madison Avenue

in Hemet, California off Florida Avenue

in Palm Desert, California off Monterey Avenue

or any PETSMART near you!

The crazy rescue mama will drive kitties to their new home, meet & greets, etc...once the phone interview and home check have been done. Gas donations always appreciated!

************ PLEASE NO CALLS. NO ONE IS AVAILABLE TO TAKE CALLS *************

If the CAT/KITTEN is still listed (meaning here or other websites) they are still available. It does not mean they don't have other pending applications or meet and greets.

Please note: Just because you fill out an application and are approved does not obligate you to adopt the cat/kitten. If he or she is not a fit...we have plenty of other cats / kittens available for adoption.

We are a SMALL rescue based out of Hemet, California. We are all volunteers that run the rescue. If we haven't reached out....be patient.

THELMA is ALREADY fully vetted.
The adoption fee of $200 covers:

Spay
FVRCP shots
RABIES shot
FELV/FIV test (Negative/Negative)
Drontal Dewormer
Stronghold Flea Control
Microchip

We are NOT a government FUNDED shelter and all our donations and adoption fees are for our rescued cats/kittens. So, we do not do DISCOUNTS.

If for some unfortunate reason you missed out on the kitten/cat you emailed about...I'm sure that we could help you with another rescue baby! Just ask!

If you have any questions not covered here, please feel free to email us:
