Turk, a 2 1/2-year-old Staffordshire Bull Terrier mix, was rescued from an IL animal control euthanasia list almost 2 years ago, and he's been on the lookout for his forever home ever since. This loving pup is dog-friendly 🐕 and okay with cats 🐱, but he might prefer older kids for companionship. Turk can be a little slow to warm up to new people, so he needs an experienced owner who can give him the patience and understanding he deserves. But once he trusts you, he'll be your loyal companion for life!

Turk is a water-loving pooch who adores swimming 🌊, and he walks beautifully on a leash 🚶‍♂️. He's also a quick learner and loves training sessions, so he's ready to impress with his skills. Turk would thrive in an active home, and he might even be a candidate for dog sports 🏅.

Please request an application from us. Once we receive the application we will contact you via email or phone within 48 hours to go over your application and to set up a time for a home visit. If your application is approved we will contact you to set up a time for you to meet with the dog you are interested in adopting.

Besides being spayed/neutered all of our dogs are also dewormed, microchipped, receive their rabies, distemper & bortadella vacinations and are heartworm tested. They are also on heart worm & flea preventative.
