Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Available for adoption in Orange County only.
Luna is a spunky terrier/chi mix that is about two years old. She's a total lovebug and enjoys the company of people. She has a good amount of energy, but is very sweet and would do best in a home that is around to spend lots of time with her. She's a velcro dog and loves to be with people.
She has lived with young kids and other dogs. She is a bit of an alpha female and does seem to prefer the company of submissive male dogs to other pups. She's also been around cats, turtles and chickens and done well with those. She really loves cats and would do great in a home with a cat!
Luna loves to play fetch, snuggle, and meet new people. Her foster family says that she is amazing. They take her with them everywhere. She’s great in the car and sits quietly in her foster mom's lap when she's out with friends. She also loves playing with toys. She's good in her crate for a couple hours at a time if you aren't home but is also capable of sleeping in her crate through the night without making a fuss. Ideally, she would love to sleep in the bed with her people, but we would recommend making sure she knows the house rules and is being her best self before giving her that luxury!
She does like to bark to alert her fosters to strangers coming to the door, but she isn’t yappy. As an alpha female, Luna would do best in a home with someone who can take the lead for her and help her with basic training so that she doesn't try to run the show in her new home! She is doing well with potty training but will need someone who can be consistent about taking her out to do her business and understands that she should not have complete freedom in the house until she proves she can be a good girl and do all her business outside.
