My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Snickers – The Awkward and Adorable Pup Who Just Wants to Be Loved!

If you’re looking for a sweet, low-key companion, Snickers might be the perfect match! This easy going boy is a little awkward in the cutest way and is happiest when things are calm and relaxed.

Here’s a bit more about this gentle soul:
- Snickers enjoys hanging out with other dogs who share his chill vibe. No roughhousing needed—he’s all about peaceful companionship.
- Energy Level: Low to mild – Snickers prefers laid-back activities over wild adventures. A walk and a comfy nap are more his speed.

Play Group Summary:
- Enjoys mutual play but won’t start it every time
- A relatively quiet boy – not the loudest in the group!
- Often pauses during play and sometimes prefers to just observe
- He can get nervous, but with patience and understanding, he warms up beautifully
- Snickers may be a bit shy at first, but underneath that nervous exterior is a pup longing for connection. All he needs is a little patience, love, and a calm environment where he can feel safe.

Could you be the one to show Snickers what it means to be truly loved?

Additional adoption info

Our adoption process consist of filling out an agreement document that specifies the adopter will have the adopted animal vaccinated for rabies and spayed/neutered as needed, within an appropriate time period. Currently the adoption fee is $50, but $40 of that comes back in the form of a voucher than can be used at local veterinarians for the rabies vaccination and/or spay/neuter procedure.
