Here's what the humans have to say about me:
Magic is a 14-16 -month-old beautiful Black Lab/ Greyhound-mix (probably) that weighs 70 pounds. He is tall, has long legs and is slim.
This handsome boy is very friendly – his tail doesn’t stop wagging and he loves to give kisses: he is wonderful with everyone he meets and immediately starts giving kisses. He is energetic, athletic, gentle-mannered and loyal but also very affectionate and a boy who loves to cuddle. He bonds very quickly and has been great around strangers and children alike.
Magic is absolutely wonderful with dogs of all sizes: he lives in a foster home with a few other dogs and just loves to play. He is also alert, so if there is someone at the door, he will run to the door and bark.
He goes to dog parks, loves to run and runs very fast: that’s why we think he might have Greyhound in him. Also, he has a very strong sense of smell.
Magic walks pretty well on leash, loves going on walks, and will benefit from basic obedience training with his future owner. He is very treat-motivated and a very smart dog, so training him will be very easy and a fun way to start his new life.
He does great on car rides (is generally calm and also curious and looking outside), does really well during vet visits (he keeps giving kisses to the doctor during the exam), and creates no problems when getting a bath or getting his nails trimmed.
Magic is a young, active, very athletic dog that will need an active owner – someone who will take him for walks, hikes, and even running or swimming.
He loves loves, loves playing fetch: at the dog park, if you throw the ball he runs so fast that no other dog can reach it before him.
This wonderful boy also loves water, so if you jump in he will probably follow you and swim with you in the ocean. In his foster home he has been housebroken, knows how to use a doggie door and follows his person everywhere – a velcro dog. Magic has no problem being left alone and is not destructive. He does great when meeting new dogs at dog parks or during his leash walks – quite a dog, in general.
Magic is a wonderful boy: calm in the house and very well-behaved. He is really a perfect dog and would also be a great candidate as a service dog.
