Piper is a stunning light brown tabby who recently gave birth to five beautiful babies. Now that the babies have moved on, it is Piper's time to shine. Everyone who meets this sweet girl falls in love.
Piper has tested FIV positive. Feline immunodeficiency virus (FIV) is a virus that affects only cats. It is not the same as feline AIDS (acquired immunodeficiency syndrome of cats). Although the virus weakens the cat's immune system, FIV-positive felines can live long lives -— in fact, just as long as FIV-negative cats. FIV-positive cats pose no risk to humans, and if they're not aggressive, they pose little to no risk to other felines.
Piper will need to be adopted out of her foster home. Our Adoption Coordinator will set this up for approved applicants.
