My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Springer came to us back in April of 2023. He is quite the talker and will carry a converstion with you as long as you want. He loves to go in and out and is clean when he is in. He most likely spent his first years on his own and enjoys the outdoors but now enjoys the indoors as well as all the toys he gets to play with and the soft bedding to lay in a sunbeam. He is a great cat who has had hard times but enjoys being with us now. He is a little shy around men at first so thinking a man might have mistreated him.

Second Chance For Cats is a nonprofit organization set up to spay or neuter homeless felines, and then adopt, relocate, or release these cats. Our goal is to reduce the free roaming cat population in Bluefield, West Virginia and the surrounding area, and to provide ongoing care, including rabies vaccinations, medical treatment, and food for homeless and neglected cats. Our ultimate goal is to have a rescue and no kill shelter.
