My story

Here's what the humans have to say about me:

Meet Dori! She was dumped in a park in Houston with a bad case of sarcoptic mange. She has been treated for that and look at her now! She has a beautiful brindle coat 💕 Mange is very treatable but this should not come back with a lot of flea and tick preventatives that are in the market. She is spayed, vaccinated and microchipped. She did come to us heartworm positive but we have started her on the slow kill method and will send enough preventive to get her through a year. Heartworms are transmitted by mosquitoes only and are not contagious to other dogs. She is doing quite well on the treatment. She is a DOLL and loves to play with her roomie, Bamboo! Uses a doggie door and is house trained. She is adoptable within 5 hours of Granbury, Tx. She will require a secure fenced yard for her safety. Adoption fee is $200 and applications can be found at www.scftx.org/adopt
