Rescue Story
Mousse is a 10 year old Jindo mix. She was pregnant when she was abandoned by an owner in the shelter where there were about 1,600 dogs. We decided to find her a good home although she is a senior dog hoping she can have the best ending of her life.

About Him/Her
We know this will be a big challenge for us. It is very difficult to find an adopter who is willing to adopt a senior and bigger dog who has a disability. Our partner did their best to find homes for 1,200 dogs, and there are about 400 dogs left. Mousse is one of those. She waited too long patiently for her family so far, and we can’t give up on her.

She doesn’t have any separation anxiety and she can wait for 8 hrs by herself. She might have been abused before by a previous owner because she gets startled if the current foster mom suddenly puts her hand near Mousse’s face. She also doesn’t eat much if the foster mom watches in front of her. She doesn't have aggression at all but she doesn’t like hyper-active or dogs who don’t have a proper manner. She is potty trained, she is very independent and she is an absolute sweetheart.

Thanks to the current foster mom, she started to trust humans. She shows her tummy for belly rubs and becomes very affectionate. She still startles sometimes but the more she gets loved by humans, this will be gone.

Her front leg was broken before, and she never had a chance to get treated. She doesn’t need surgery but she will be slightly limping. The current foster is using one shoe to protect her paw.

She loves people and still trusts humans although she was abandoned and abused. Is there anyone who is willing to become a rescuer for her so she can have the best life possible?
