We adopted Benny from Diamondcrest Kennels. He is a pure-bred Rhodesian Ridgeback, and he was born in late October of 2021. He is a very healthy, happy boy - and he is a tri-pod. Late last year, he was hit by a car and had to have his back left leg amputated. He still runs just as fast, and we are convinced he doesn't know it's gone. He is energetic and very loyal. He is a great guard-dog as he has a great bark, but around people he is more shy and very sweet. He loves being around people 24/7, and is a cuddle-bug even though he is much bigger than a lap dog. He has a gorgeous red/brown coat with short hair, and that classic ridge on his back from his breed.
He doesn't need any special care due to his lack of his one leg - he might be a bit clumsy sometimes but overall is a strong, healthy dog.
My husband and I are moving out of the country and are unable to bring him with us, so we are looking for a home for him that would love him and give him lots of treats and cuddles.
