Cutey is exactly that- a cutey patooty with a happy, silly personality and big old heart to share with you!! This goofy girl is bouncy, friendly, and happy- go- lucky. She loves attention and affection and gives great puppy smooches. Here’s what her volunteer friends have had to say about her:
“Cutey is a very sweet pup who is excited to get out of her kennel. She calmed down once in the yard, took treats gently, and loves affection. Cutey was very calm and well behaved.”
“Cutey can be bouncy in her excitement to go on a walk but calms down quickly once out of her kennel. She enjoys sniffing and has puppylike energy- she is eager to please and responds quickly to verbal direction. Cutey seems like she would do well in a home that can offer her structure and an outlet for the abundance of love and excitement that she has. When we returned to her kennel, she promptly sat down and gave an angelic smile, leaning in for pets calmly as I unleashed her. Cutey is a young dog would blossom quickly in a space where she can actually play and be active rather than sitting in a kennel for so long. A lovely, cheerful little lady.”
“I took Cutey out this week and she`s playful and loves attention. She’s food motivated, knows sit, and is eager to learn more! Cutey is a friendly dog who loves spending time with people and cuddling with them.”
“Cutey is very treat motivated. She sits on command in her kennel and leashes easily. She’s a very bouncy dog! Cutey also lives up to her name, with a glowing and endearing smile! She really seems so joyful and happy. She seems to really enjoy affection and praise. She takes treats nicely and is a sweet girl. Cutey has had a variety of roommates during her time in the shelter and was social and tolerant when meeting other dogs in playgroup. She’d like to meet any resident dogs before heading home to make sure it’s a good fit. Ask to meet Cutey today!!

Meet the Pet
Once you have decided which pets you are interested in, sign in for an adoption counselor who will guide you through the adoption process.

Take the Pet Home
Cats must leave in a carrier and dogs must leave in a carrier or on leash. We do have these available for purchase in our lobby store.
Additional adoption info
Year-Round Adoption Fees:
• Puppies and kittens less than 4 months old $50
• Adult dogs and cats $30
• A standard $20 dog license fee may apply
• Pets who have been waiting for more than 2 weeks for a family and pets over 5 years old $0 - Fee Waived!
Every adoption includes:
• Spay or neuter surgery
• First Vaccinations
• Microchip
• Vet visit certificate
• Pet insurance
